Article: Apologetic Ohman just happy to be back; Lefty receives cool reception, but he likely can help club

A contrite -- and remarkably quiet -- Will Ohman returned Saturday to the Cubs' clubhouse, a place he wasn't sure he ever would see again after the veteran reliever's controversial exit last month.

"I'm obviously very happy, relieved to be back," Ohman said. "I slept for about 15 minutes last night because I was so excited."

When Ohman returned, his corner locker -- the premium real estate once occupied by Sammy Sosa -- wasn't waiting for him. Instead, new addition Steve Trachsel's uniform was hanging in that stall. Ohman's space was on the other side of the room, with a pink backpack -- the same one used to haze rookies -- sitting on the stool in front.
