There are 22 villas in the bird- and butterfly-filled grounds of
the Xandari Resort on the outskirts of San Jose. Some of the coffee
plants in this 40-acre plantation have been replaced with native
plant species to encourage the wildlife, but there is still more

hotel's restaurant, some of the beans are crushed and used in the
