Article: Nut allergy sees schoolboy barred from lessons

A SCHOOLBOY who suffers from a nut allergy has been excluded from classes because his East Yorkshire school regards him as a health and safety hazard.

George Hall-Lambert was only four days into the Autumn term at his new senior school when his mum was summoned to see the headtacher.

She was told the 11-year-old would have to be taken home because Howden School has no policy in place to handle a severe nut allergy.

George is now receiving 15 hours tuition at his home in the village of Eastrington, near Goole, five of which his mum and dad are paying for.
