Westcountry comedian Jethro has been at the forefront of a new
showing event which offered prize-money totalling pounds50,000.
Organisers of the New Vision Horse Show, which took place at the
David Broome Event Centre, in South Wales, last weekend said the aim
of the event was to put the "fun" back into showing.
Exhibitors in every class at the show received prize- money down
to sixth place, with class winners either walking away with
pounds250 or pounds400, while the winner of the open working hunter
class scooped pounds750. Champion- ship winners either took
pounds500 or pounds1,000. The overall supreme champion claimed
another pounds1,000 on top of that.
