A 23-year-old Pasadena, Md., man who told police he was shot
and his fiancee slain during a robbery near a Baltimore park was
charged yesterday with hiring the gunman to kill her and then wound
him to cover up the crime.
Robert Harris and the alleged trigger man, Russell Brill, 22,
of Baltimore, were charged with first-degree murder in the death of
Theresa McCloud, said Rob Weinhold, a Baltimore police spokesman.
McCloud died Friday after she was shot six times during what
Harris said was a robbery in the parking lot of a southwest
Baltimore park.
The couple were scheduled to be married in September.
Harris at first told police that a black man wearing a
