`Average' Sox fan

goes to Baltimore

I could not agree more with Mr. Herman's comment ("Judge rules ticket firm violated law," Sept. 18). Going to a game should not be just for the rich and famous. Three years of trying and registering for tickets to a Red Sox game has been unsuccessful. I won't pay Internet prices - be it StubHub, eBay, or any ticket agency or service. I think some legislators are naive to suggest that consumers do not need protection from scalpers.

As long as fools pay the prices or people who don't care about price pay, then the games will be out of reach for the average fan in New England. There is a reason that Camden Yards in Baltimore has become "Fenway South."
