Dance was central to the way music was composed in the baroque and classical eras, but dancing has played a mostly peripheral role in previous editions of the Boston Early Music Festival.

Now this is changing and eight members of London's Early Dance Project have flown over for an appearance with the BEMF Orchestra under the direction of Roger Norrington tonight.
