Article: Mitchell Rogovin Dies at 65; Lawyer for High-Profile Clients

Mitchell Rogovin, 65, an aggressive and skilled Washington lawyer who did legal work for high-profile individuals and organizations ranging from the Central Intelligence Agency to the public-interest lobbying organization Common Cause, died Feb. 7 at Georgetown University Hospital of complications after a stroke.

Mr. Rogovin's legal career in Washington spanned more than 30 years. It included helping with the exchange of prisoners after the ill-fated Bay of Pigs invasion of Cuba of 1961 and serving as general counsel for the 1980 presidential campaign of independent candidate John B. Anderson.
