General Motors is on the comeback trail. That's a judgment based
on the products that are showing up in the marketplace.
In talking to GM people these days, you can sense a new optimism,
a new confidence, even in the face of recession and poor sales. Poor
sales, yes, but market share is tending to creep up these days,
something very different from the recent -- and distant -- past.
