Article: Lawyer parodies nation's mores In latest book, Manchester's John Davis pokes fun at the SATs

MANCHESTER -- Using a sheet of paper as his courtroom and comedy as the prosecutor, Manchester lawyer John Davis spends his free time bringing American culture to trial.

Davis writes parody books as a hobby and in his court, authority carries no weight, convention is picked apart and etiquette does not exist. For six years, the lawyer said, he has retreated to this court to nurture his sense of humor and his "class clown" personality, and to survive in a society that causes him a lot of hand-wringing.

This justice system is quite different from the one in which Davis works during the day, handling personal injury cases at the law firm
