Article: TWO FACE OFF IN HEATED PLANNING BOARD RACE DEVELOPMENT IS TOWN'S HOT TOPIC

NATICK - The town is on the cusp of urbanization with an effective density of 2,800 people per square mile and must plan actively if it is to retain its current character, said Natick Planning Board chairman Julian Munnich. Up for reelection in March, Munnich is under fire from his challenger, Aaron Socrat.

Socrat, an architect, has charged that Munnich has not treated applicants before the board with respect and has not approached planning with an eye toward expanding the town's tax base.
