Article: Big Ten, Pac-10 Seek Alliance; Conferences Discuss Rose Bowl Future

Representatives of the Big Ten and Pacific-10 conferences met yesterday with other officials to talk about joining the college football Bowl Alliance, a move that would guarantee a national championship game every January. The move, which could not happen for at least two years, was discussed with representatives of the Tournament of Roses and ABC Sports at the conferences' annual meeting in Phoenix.
