Blake O'Brien is convinced.
"I'm the next Brad Pitt," he said as he waited to hand a photo
of himself with his black cat, Zelda, to a casting agent. "They just
don't know it yet."
But his immediate task is first to persuade Hollywood that he
can be another face in the crowd. To that end, O'Brien joined about
5,000 other people last night in a four-block-long line outside a
dance club on 18th Street NW for the biggest motion picture casting
call in the city's history.
There were people of all ages, races and occupations,
waiting hours to fill out an application and allow a casting
director to look them up and down.
