retail store from locating in a quaint section of Route 20 dotted
with antique shops, a drive-in ice cream eatery, and a bicycle shop.
A public hearing on the proposal began last month and will

would attract an estimated 130 cars a day.
Northborough does not have a car wash, but there are such
facilities in nearby Westborough, Marlborough, and Shrewsbury.
