Disney's animation division has its attention squarely focused on
one thing at the moment: promoting its new "Treasure Island" riff,
"Treasure Planet." After that, priority items include the Dec. 3 DVD/
video release of "Lilo & Stitch" and February's theatrical release of
"The Jungle Book 2." Of course, part of what makes Disney, well,
Disney is that all such offerings are guaranteed to meet a certain
quality level. But it does seem that since the late-'80s/early-'90s
hit parade of "The Little Mermaid," "Beauty and the Beast,"
"Aladdin," and "The Lion King," the studio's releases haven't been as
inspired. Given the creative energy poured into these 'toons, one
