BALI, Indonesia - The devastated blast site in the heart of the
beach town of Kuta, where a nightclub bombing last week killed more
than 180 people and injured hundreds more, has become Indonesia's
ground zero. Mourners have piled flowers 10 feet in the air and burn
incense that cannot quite mask the scent of death from the remains
buried under the twisted wreckage.
The sight of Bali's local Hindu population grieving alongside
relatives of dead Western tourists is not the postcard image that the
