NEEDHAM
The Newton-Needham Chamber of Commerce will host its annual
"Spring Seasonings" event from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. April 3 in the
Boston Marriott Newton hotel at 2345 Commonwealth Ave. The evening
will include food and beverage selections from local restaurants and
a silent auction of goods from local retailers. Admission is $30, $25

OVERRIDES ON BALLOT - Citing outcry from residents and concern for
public safety, the Board of Selectmen reversed its Feb. 11 vote and
approved placing two operational override questions on the April 14
ballot. The 4-to-0 vote was made at a special board meeting March 5.
