James Arthur Kelley of Newburyport died Feb. 15 at Anna Jaques
Hospital in Newburyport. He was 90.
Born in Haverhill, Mr. Kelley was known as a talented musician in
the area before entering the US Army during World War II. He entered
the Army in 1942 serving as a surgical technician with the US Army
Medical Corps in Iceland and England.
