NEEDHAM
PUBLIC SCHOOL BUDGET MEETING Parents and other residents
concerned with next year's school budget will have an opportunity to
be heard by the School Committee in the upcoming days. The committee,
which began its annual budget talks on Jan. 20, will focus almost
exclusively on school finances during special meetings on Jan. 27 and
Feb. 3. While public comments are welcome at all committee meetings,
members expect to be close to a consensus by the Feb. 3 meeting. The
committee has to present the budget and budget priorities to the
Finance Committee by Feb. 11. The Jan. 27 meeting will be held in the
Broadmeadow School auditorium at 7 p.m. - Christina Pazzanese
