ACTONThe Community Preservation Committee is reviewing the 14
projects for which applications have been submitted in order to
determine how funds will be allocated. The committee began the review
process in December and will review additional projects at 7:30 p.m.
on Jan. 8, in Town Hall and at 7:30 p.m. on Jan. 22 at the Acton
Memorial Library. Funding requests range from an $8,285 proposal from
the Historic District Commission for Historic District Boundary
Signage to a $550,000 request from the Acton-Boxborough Regional
School District for an artificial surface for Leary Field. - Sally
