Theresa Barone had no idea what famous native son had been born in
her home when she first moved in 13 years ago. She just needed a deal
on a two-bedroom apartment near the Lowell print shop where she
worked.
Then, a year after she and her husband, Lawrence, moved into the
brown and yellow two-family house, a group of about 10 people pulled
up in a van and started taking pictures while she and her husband
sat on the porch.
"What are you doing?" asked her husband, a native of Lowell, his
temper rising.
