DENNIS - At South Village Beach early yesterday morning, 10
women lay on towels in an arc facing Nantucket Sound, their measured
breathing easily audible in the morning calm. Their yoga instructor,
Sasa Reljic, spoke softly over the lapping of the low tide and the
whistling of birds and the breeze, coaxing the women to use their
arms, lengthen their spines, roll their hips, and hug their knees.
Yoga classes have become increasingly popular on Cape Cod's
beaches, where enthusiasts say the sand and ocean air offer an ideal
setting for the discipline's breathing exercises, body movements, and
