Donald Yetter Gardner, who delighted generations of children
around the world with his classic Christmas song, "All I Want For
Christmas Is My Two Front Teeth," died of heart failure Wednesday at
Caritas Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. He was 91.
Mr. Gardner lived in Wellesley for 35 years in a house filled with
"Two Front Teeth" memorabilia. A year ago, he and his wife of 65
years, Doris (Yoder), moved to North Hill retirement community in
Needham. Although Mr. Gardner, a former Long Island music teacher and
textbook editor, composed other songs, including some published
church anthems, he will forever be remembered for writing the words
