DENVER - Call it a time-honored tradition.

Many All-Star coaches have spent sleepless nights trying to figure out the best way to divide minutes among the superstars accustomed to playing 35 minutes or more per game.

With the West All-Star team featuring players like Tracy McGrady (42.1 minutes per game) and Kobe Bryant (42.0), Gregg Popovich was doing his best to divvy up minutes fairly.

When asked what he did during All-Star Weekend leading up to last night's game at Pepsi Center, Popovich said, "Well, I've spent most of my time worrying about minutes. We've gone through [it] to just make sure that we're not playing three guys 37 minutes and two guys eight minutes, that sort of thing. ...
