The School Committee for Northeast Metropolitan Regional
Vocational School today will hold a special budget meeting at 7 p.m.
at the school, 100 Hemlock Road in Wakefield. Superintendent Patricia
K. Cronin will present her proposed $16.2 million fiscal year 2006
budget, a 4.9 percent increase over the current fiscal year. The
committee will also choose a date for the public hearing. Local
communities served by the regional high school include Chelsea,
Malden, Melrose, Revere, Saugus, and Wakefield.
