Article: SELECTMEN TO RECONSIDER LINDEN ST. DECISION

Responding to complaints from the public and town officials that they were rushing the decision, Wellesley selectmen will reconsider tomorrow night whether to stick with June 13 as the date for a Special Town Meeting on redevelopment of the Linden Street commercial corridor.

Selectmen chairman Vincent Juliani Jr. said his panel would meet tomorrow with the Planning Board and Board of Public Works to see whether "we have a united front and can go forward" or whether they should wait until fall. Juliani said the board would stick to the June 13 meeting date only if "everything is in place" and there is a "comfort level."
