FREE SOUNDS 'ROUND TOWN
The Grandsons, Diana & the Moondogs and Kevin Johnson & the
Linemen perform their roots rock at The Washington Post's Weekend's
Weekend concert Friday at 8 at the Carter Barron Amphitheatre, 16th
Street and Colorado Avenue NW. The concert is free, but tickets are
required. They will be given away, with a limit of four per person,
starting Friday at 10 a.m. at the Carter Barron box office; call

The National Symphony Orchestra performs a free concert of
patriotic works, including "The Battle Hymn of the Republic," "Hail
to the Chief" and "Stars and Stripes Forever," Sunday at 8 on the
