JACKSONVILLE, Fla. David Garrard could probably star in a television series, "Everybody Loves The Backup Quarterback." Except beginning tonight, it's already in reruns.

After leading the Jaguars to a 5-1 record in Byron Leftwich's absence, Garrard is out of the limelight again. Although a backup quarterback is always on call, Garrard might be called upon early if Leftwich shows rust or if Leftwich's right ankle can't hold up to 60 minutes of football.
