HOW NOT TO THINK
The Horizon section is one of the jewels of The Post's
sometimes tarnished crown. It is well written and researched,
informative, not "dumbed down" for school use as is so often the
case today and covers a wide range of interesting topics.
Given my high regard for Horizon, it was a disappointment to see
an opinionated and politically strident article in the "How to
Think" feature {by Alan Stairs, Aug. 14}. The material used included
some time-worn factoids from the Post's editorial and Style pages,
in particular about Willie Horton and partial birth abortion.
