There are plenty of very good lefthanded hitters in the American
League that Mike Myers has made look silly this season.

run in 10 appearances (6 1/3 innings). He'd allowed only three hits
and one walk.

season, he held lefthanded hitters to a .158 average, and all hitters
to a .186 average with men on base and .163 with runners in scoring
position.

a two-year deal was to retire David Ortiz in tight situations in the
late innings.
