In the end, these "ninja" bandits just couldn't escape.
Last week, four people were indicted in connection with a Lawrence
bank robbery in January in which the alleged wrongdoers did their
deed dressed as ninjas.
According to police, two men dressed in black masks, clothing, and
gloves walked into the TD Banknorth branch at 305 South Broadway and
walked out with close to half a million dollars. But instead of
wielding swords or nunchucks, the ninja bandits got their way by
waving pistols. One of the men, police said, even climbed over a 5-
foot wall dividing the lobby and bank vault and stuffed his bag with
the money.
Authorities said that planning for the well-executed heist
