Article: Consumers Union Says Acura SLXs, Isuzu Troopers Prone to Roll Over

Consumers Union, publisher of Consumer Reports, asked the government yesterday to order a recall of 35,000 Isuzu Trooper and Acura SLX sport-utility vehicles manufactured in model years 1995 through 1996, which the magazine said are prone to roll over in sharp turns.

The organization also recommended that consumers not buy 1995-96 Trooper and 1996 SLX models, which received "not acceptable" ratings in an article appearing in the October edition of Consumer Reports.
