Article: NEW FOR THE HOUSE -- A SNEAK PREVIEW

If there is nothing new under the sun in the building business, there certainly are a lot of new variations on the old materials that go into building houses -- and fixing them up.

You could see a lot of them in a huge exhibit earlier this month at the World Trade Center in Boston, if you were a lumberman.

The exhibit -- hundreds of display booths with every kind of material you would want -- was a part of the Northeast Lumbermen's Association annual convention. The lumbermen -- the people who run lumber yards and stores -- meet every year to see what's new and what they can sell in 1987.
