The rest of the world is slowly catching up to the United
States in basketball ability, yet it's clear they have a ways to go.
And they certainly haven't made any progress when it comes to
uniforms.
That was evident today as the U.S. Olympic men's basketball
team, in their ready-for-retail blue jerseys, thoroughly dominated
the Brazilians in their yellow tops and green shorts, 109-68, in an
exhibition game at Gund Arena.
As ugly as they were, the opposing jerseys seemed to bring
out some of the best of Dream Team III, which put forth a
lackadaisical effort and barely beat the U.S. Select team of
collegiate players Saturday.
