Washington Capitals center Joe Juneau could not feel his right
foot after being struck on the back of the knee during the team's
2-1 loss to Pittsburgh Saturday, but said yesterday that the injury
was improving, and feeling was returning. A Penguins team doctor
diagnosed a bruised nerve Saturday, but Juneau will be examined
further by the Capitals' medical staff today.
"It got better as the day went on" yesterday, Juneau said. "I
can pretty much move my foot, which I couldn't do yesterday, but
there is a lot of pain behind the knee. It's bruised and swollen."
General Manager David Poile said the Capitals will not ask
the NHL to review Penguins center Tyler Wright's two-handed ...
