Lotus Development Corp., headquartered in East Cambridge
where it has experienced phenomenal expansion in five years, this
week leased all 83,000 square feet of space in a new building under
construction along the new Lechmere Canal.
In another lease transaction dislosed this week, the Hartford
Insurance Group of Hartford, whose regional Boston offices have
been in Center Plaza in the Government Center for 10 years, plans
to move its headquarters, also to East Cambridge.
Hartford has leased 39,000 square feet of space in the
four-story, 3 Cambridge Center building in Kendall Square recently
completed by developer Mortimer Zuckerman's Boston Properties. The
