EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. - The dressing rooms told the story.
In the Cowboys' quarters, players exalted as if they'd won the Rose
Bowl. The Giants were the opposite, quiet and unmoving. New York
linebacker Harry Carson sat with his head turned away from the
media for nearly 20 minutes. When he finally looked up, his face
was full of pity and disgust.
The world champion New York Giants lost to the lowly Dallas
Cowboys, 16-14, yesterday, and no one was more surprised than the
Giants.
"I don't think we're the same team that won the Super Bowl,"
