An $85 million project now under construction on East
Cambridge's Charles River waterfront promises to become the most
expensive residential address in Cambridge.
At The Esplanade, which is what Boston developer Richard
Cohen has named his new building, the asking price for at least a
half-dozen of the 206 units will be $1 million, "and well over
that."
How much "well over" totals, Cohen was hesitant to
specificy. But, he said, while prices will start at $200,000, the
average price could come to about $500,000.
Cohen, who heads Cohen Properties, is building a 13-story
block on the site of the former Orion Research Building on
