Article: NYSE CUTS BACK TRADING HOURS FOR THREE DAYS

Inundated by almost 2.5 billion shares traded in the previous week and beset with disagreements between brokers over what shares were traded and prices are to be paid, the New York Stock Exchange yesterday finally cried uncle.

The Big Board said it would curtail its trading hours today through Tuesday.
