There is just one way to describe it: Big. Big names and big
money and big thinking combining to bring about the biggest trade
in recent National Football League history.
After nearly four days of frantic negotiating, the Los
Angeles Rams, Indianapolis Colts and Buffalo Bills got together to
do the following:
- Rams superstar running back Eric Dickerson was sent to the
Colts, where he will sign a four-year, $5.6 million contract,
making him the highest-paid running back in history.
- Outstanding linebacker Cornelius Bennett was sent to the
Bills, where he will sign a five-year contract reportedly worth $4
