The body of an unidentified male was found yesterday
afternoon in a wooded area near the Massachusetts Mental Health
Center, police said. Another body was found early yesterday morning
in the water near the Summer Street Bridge.
The body near the mental health facility, of a white male
about 30 years old, was found at 5:30 p.m. by a person walking a
dog through a tree-lined area between Brookline Avenue and the
Riverway.
There were no immediate signs of violence, police said. After
a brief check, the medical examiner said he did not believe the
death was a homicide. An autopsy will be performed this morning,
said Sgt. Joseph Harris of the Boston Police Department.
