A funeral service will be held at noon Friday, Nov. 20, in
the Church of the Messiah, Woods Hole, for Robert Bacon of
Falmouth, second vice president of Falmouth Hospital.
Mr. Bacon, 68, died Monday at his home, apparently of a heart
attack.
Born in Boston, Mr. Bacon was a graduate of St. Paul's School,
Concord, and the Cate School in Carpinteria, Calif. He was a member
of the class of 1942 at Harvard College.
After graduating from Harvard, he entered the Army and was a
veteran of World War II. He was an assistant military attache in
Rio de Janiero from 1946 until retiring from the Army in 1947 with
the rank of captain.
