Choo San Goh, one of the ballet world's most popular choreographers, died Saturday night in his Manhattan home. He was 39. Goh, who was born in Singapore, where he began his ballet training and also earned a B.A. in biochemistry from the University of Singapore, danced for several years with the Dutch National Ballet before becoming resident choreographer at the Washington Ballet in 1976. Until his death he was associated with the Washington company, rising to the position of associate artistic director. Washington Post dance critic Alan M.
