The hats came down in a snowstorm. A snowstorm of hats. Hats and
more hats. They floated through the smoky Boston Garden air. They
flipped and zipped. They landed like feathers. They landed with a
splat.
Hats.
"Do you wear a hat?" Boston Bruins winger Cam Neely was asked
after his three-goal HAT TRICK led the local operation to a
thunderous 7-3 win over the always accursed first-place Montreal
Canadiens last night.
"Actually, I'm not a big hat wearer," Neely admitted, "but I
do have a collection. Maybe I'll take a look through those hats . .
. "
How many? Who knows?
Who can count the flakes in a normal snowstorm? Who can count
the hats in a normal hatstorm? Maybe the hats ...
