Jameson Marvin arrived at Harvard 10 years ago to direct the
university's choral activities. Very soon thereafter he hired
Beverly Taylor as associate director. Between them they are
responsible for four choruses. His are the 60-voice all-male
Harvard Glee Club and the Harvard-Radcliffe Collegium Musicum,
which numbers about 50 undergraduates, specializes in early music
and often collaborates with John Ferris' Harvard Memorial Church
choir. Hers are the 55-voice Radcliffe Choral Society and the
160-voice Harvard Radcliffe Chorus, which takes in community people
as well as students, faculty and staff.
