The three schools of the University System of New Hampshire are
among of the most expensive public higher education institutions in
the country, but the high price of tuition is not scaring away
applicants.
Applications for admission to the University of New Hampshire
in Durham, Keene State College and Plymouth State College for the
1988-89 academic year are "running at an all-time high," according
to Art Grant, secretary for the university system.
The university system has received almost 24,000 applications
for admission for the upcoming academic year. As of March 1, 5,609
New Hampshire residents had applied for 2,230 available spots, and
18,339 nonresident students had applied for ...
