CONCORD - Jane Hunt has received a sign that somebody out there
is reading what she has to say.
The 43-year-old writer/poet from Concord has won the second
annual Isaac Asimov's Science Fiction Magazine readers' choice
award for best poet. She was honored for her poem entitled "The
Famous Hospitality of Dao'i," the second poem she submitted to the
magazine. The winning work was published in the September 1987
edition.
Hunt said she is thrilled with the award since she knows her
readers are "paying attention."
"It's wonderful to have this type of feedback," she said.
