NAIROBI, Kenya - The government has ordered private zoos
closed and said the animals must be surrendered to game wardens, a
Nairobi newspaper reported yesterday.
The Daily Nation quoted George Muhoho, tourism and wildlife
minister, as saying that Kenya has adequate game parks where people
can see animals in natural surroundings.
