While Wade Boggs was preparing to start at third base in the
All-Star Game at Cincinnati last night, his former mistress, Margo
Adams, fired a fastball from New York.
According to Adams, appearing on the nationally televised
"Donahue" show, Boggs broke into the rooms of some of his Red Sox
teammates -- while they were in compromising positions, presumably
with women -- and took photographs, some of which Adams claims to
have.
Boggs, whose private life was splashed around the country when
Adams revealed her story to the media June 3, denied any knowledge
of the photographs.
"I don't have any pictures," he said an hour before the
All-Star Game. "I don't know anything about that.
