CONCORD, N.H. - New Hampshire's unemployment rate crept up
between June and July, mostly due to seasonal changes in the job
market.
The state Department of Employment Security said the July
rate was 2.5 percent, up from June's rate of 2 percent.
Compared with the same time a year ago, the rate is down
three-tenths of a percentage point.
The national rate in July was 5.5 percent. The most recent
